Roasted Sweet Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients:

2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional for a sweet flavor)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.

2. Prepare the Potatoes: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweet potato cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cinnamon (if using), salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.

3. Arrange on the Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned sweet potato cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure they are not overcrowded for even roasting.

4. Roast the Potatoes: Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping the sweet potatoes halfway through. They should become golden brown and tender.

5. Serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley or thyme if desired, and serve hot.
