Pasta fagioli

I think every Italian family has their own recipe for this dish and here is mine.
You’ll need-
•1-qt chicken stock
•3-oz tomato paste
•6-garlic cloves finely minced
•2-10 oz. cans cannellini beans rinsed
•1-tsp salt
•1/2-tsp red pepper flakes
•1/4-cup finely minced pancetta
•2-tbs olive oil
•1/2-lb Ditalini pasta
•1/2-cup Romano cheese

1-In a pot large enough to hold the whole recipe add the olive oil, garlic, 1-tsp salt, pepper flakes, pancetta and put the heat to low.
2-once this starts to sizzle, sauté it for 5 minutes, smash the garlic with a wooden spoon
3-add the tomato paste stir everything together for 2 minutes
4-add the beans sauté for 5 minutes stirring along the way while smashing half of the beans.
5-add the chicken stock stir everything together then simmer for 15 minutes uncovered
6-prepare the Ditalini according to the directions
7-Strain the pasta and add it to the pot stir and simmer for 2 minutes
8-remove from the heat, let sit for 1 minute then stir in the grated cheese.
9-serve with more grated cheese and a drizzle of olive oil
