Crispy Chili Honey Halloumi Bites

Golden, crunchy, sweet-and-spicy perfection! These Halloumi bites make the ultimate appetizer or party snack.
Ingredients
- 2 blocks (8 oz each) Halloumi or Feta, cut into cubes
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 ½ cups cornflakes, crushed
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 ½ tsp sweet paprika
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 ½ tsp chili pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare coating: In a bowl, combine crushed cornflakes, Parmesan, sesame seeds, and paprika.
- Coat the cheese: Dip each cube of cheese into the beaten eggs, then roll in the cornflake mixture until fully coated.
- Bake: Place the coated cheese cubes on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- Make chili honey: While the cheese bakes, warm the honey and chili flakes in a small saucepan over low heat for 2–3 minutes.
- Serve: Drizzle the warm chili honey over the baked Halloumi bites. Serve immediately.
