Cheesy Hamburger Potato Casserole

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
5-6 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic until beef is browned and onions are tender. Drain any excess grease and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
3. Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
4. Layer Ingredients:
Arrange half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Spread half of the ground beef mixture over the potatoes.
Pour half of the soup mixture over the beef and sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.
Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, soup mixture, and cheddar cheese.
5. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the casserole.
6. Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. Remove the foil during the last 10-15 minutes to allow the cheese to brown slightly.
7. Serve: Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.
Enjoy this comforting and cheesy meal! Perfect for family dinners
