Beef-Stuffed Shells with Creamy Ricotta Filling

Ingredients:
• 12 jumbo pasta shells
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 cup ricotta cheese
• 1 cup marinara sauce
• 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta Shells
• Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the jumbo pasta shells until al dente according to package instructions.
• Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking. Set aside.
2. Prepare the Beef Filling
• In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked.
• Drain any excess fat and season the beef with salt and pepper to taste. Let it cool slightly.
3. Mix the Filling
• In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, ricotta cheese, and ½ cup of mozzarella cheese. Mix well until fully incorporated.
4. Stuff the Shells
• Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
• Fill each cooked pasta shell with a generous spoonful of the beef and ricotta mixture.
5. Assemble the Dish
• Spread ½ cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
• Arrange the stuffed shells in a single layer over the sauce.
• Spoon the remaining marinara sauce over the shells.
• Sprinkle the rest of the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
6. Bake
• Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
• Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Serve and Enjoy
• Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving. Pair with a fresh salad or garlic bread for a complete meal!
