Crispy Parmesan Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients:
- 1 large head of broccoli (or about 4 cups of florets)
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (more for serving if desired)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- Prepare the broccoli:
Wash and thoroughly dry the broccoli. Cut into bite-sized florets. Drying helps them crisp up in the oven. - Season:
In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated. - Add Parmesan:
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the broccoli and toss gently again, just enough to coat. - Roast:
Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until the edges are slightly charred and crispy, and the stems are just tender. - Serve:
Serve warm, optionally with a little more Parmesan sprinkled on top.
